*the title may have been encouraged by the fact that I am currently blasting the Wicked soundtrack… I apologize to my neighbors for belting “Defying Gravity” for the 500th time now…casual Saturdays.

Any hows, here’s my short, quick tidbit for today: Take the moment to enjoy all the small things. The little things help to build the big picture. Therefore, enjoy creating the picture every chance you get and make life fun!

And when you have the opportunity to dance– Dance! It’s one of life’s best shortcuts to happiness (not that I’m biased or anything..)

The truth is, people are going to hurt you.. disappoint you.. and leave you.
(And chances are, you are going to hurt someone.. disappoint someone… and leave someone.)

Life is funny that way… but amazing in the fact that it has a balance… (and well in my opinion this balance is tipped a little more in favor of all the good things.)

For every person you are hurt by, you will be loved by that many more… by those who will be there to console you, hug you, listen to you, make you whole again when the puzzle pieces you’ve shattered into seem too complicated and impossible to fit back together.

For every disappointment you face, someone will surprise you–rise to the occasion–turn out to be nothing like you expected and better than you could have ever imagined.

And for every person that steps out of your life, your heart will make room for two more people…two more that will fill the empty space and then stretch the walls to open your heart to yet a third, inviting in even more love, laughter and beauty that this world has to offer.

So yes, life is going to hurt sometimes.. it is inevitable. But Embrace the Pain.
That ache you feel? Those tears you can’t hold back? They remind us we’re alive.
Our hearts are still beating.
We still care.

& So as we are vibrant and alive, blood running through our veins, do all that you can to love those in your life. Surprise them and exceed their expectations and hopes. Stretch the walls of their hearts.
